We welcome you at Nemo Science Museum for V2G Summit 2026.
09:00 - 10:00
As V2G matures, responsibility across the value chain becomes increasingly complex. From energy market participation and data management to grid balancing and customer billing — who truly controls and coordinates the process? This session explores the evolving roles of automakers, charge point operators, aggregators, and utilities, and asks how clear governance, data standards, and shared accountability can unlock large-scale deployment.
10:00 - 12:00
As V2G scales, the line between automakers, charge point operators, energy utilities, and digital platforms blurs. Who truly is the customer experience? This session examines how brands can build trust, simplify engagement, and deliver clear value to EV drivers in an increasingly complex ecosystem.
14:00 - 16:00
Interoperability is the foundation of every successful V2G ecosystem across vehicles, chargers, aggregators, and grid operators. This session explores communication standards, data exchange, and certification pathways to ensure that technology, markets, and user experience work seamlessly together.
16:30 - 18:00
Join us for a networking dinner at the Johan Cruijff Arena Amsterdam
Dinner is included in the conference ticket. However, registration via our ticketshop is mandatory.
19:00 - 22:00
Most V2G pilots target private home charging, but millions of drivers live in apartments, rely on public infrastructure, or charge at work. This session explores how employers, fleets, and communities can play a key role in expanding V2G access. We will discuss pathways for large-scale rollouts through workplace and public charging, and how policy, incentives, and technology can ensure that V2G becomes inclusive, practical, and beneficial for all EV users.
09:30 - 10:30
From Japan’s early V2G deployments to Europe’s regulatory leadership and the U.S. market’s scale, regions are advancing at different speeds. This session compares national strategies, investment levels, and grid integration models to identify who is setting the global benchmark for V2G adoption.
11:00 - 12:15
For V2G to thrive, it must make financial sense for every stakeholder. Experts discuss revenue stacking, tariff design, battery wear considerations, and aggregator models that turn technical potential into sustainable profit. Learn what it takes to make V2G commercially viable at scale.
13:15 - 14:30
Stationary battery energy storage systems and EVs both provide flexibility to the grid but in very different ways. This session explores technical capabilities, cost structures, and operational roles of EVs versus stationary systems, and how a hybrid approach could maximize grid resilience and value creation.
15:00 - 16:00
We invite* conference attendees to join us for an exclusive walking tour through Utrecht’s streets, where V2G comes to life. We’ll visit selected V2G stations and cars, showcasing the technology in real action. Along the way, We Drive Solar experts will explain in detail how Vehicle-to-Grid works – and how it creates value for stakeholders such as grid operators, the city of Utrecht, and the car-sharing company MyWheels..
*Tour ticket is free of charge for conference attendees but registration through our ticket shop is mandatory.
